Best Practise...Making Time to Be Active by Auro

Trying to juggle a million and one things and also find time for an effective workout is by no means easy. However, Auro are here to help you reach your full fitness potential, even with limited amount of time on your hands. Here are Auro’s top 3 training methods to help you push yourself further:

High Intensity Interval Training is one of the most effective forms of training for busy bees. You burn loads of calories (and build muscle) in a short period of time as you’re pushing yourself to work to your optimum level. If you compare a 30-min cardio session on a treadmill with a 30-min HIIT session, the average person will burn around 295 calories on the treadmill and 400 with HIIT!

If you’re not a fan of high intensity, EMOM (Every Minute On the Minute) workouts are great. For EMOM, you would begin one exercise and perform a specific number of reps at the top of a minute and then you would rest for whatever time you have left until the next minute starts. By doing this, you’re playing with your work-rest period and are in control of your time.

The main purpose of EMOM training is to maximise every minute of your workout to try and push yourself to become the best you.

3. Audio Fitness

And if you’re not into the idea of HIIT or EMOM, why not try out the Auro app. Auro is home to hundreds of audio workouts and training plans, ranging from strength, outdoor runs to yoga and meditation. Auro classes range from 10-minute HIIT classes all the way to hour-long outdoor jogs and marathon training. By filtering your workout by time, you’re able to fit any workout you like into your schedule. And the best part is that your workouts are guided by motivational personal trainers, pushing you through every second of your session. When you have no time to create your own workout routine and just want to jump right into a perfect workout, the Auro app is there to keep your fitness in check.
