SAD Lamps - a review from a skeptic
I’ll be kicking off this week as I’ve been feeling a little low energy and I’ve been struggling with my productivity!
The room that I work in is seriously lacking in natural light, especially at this time of year, because of this I’ve been experiencing some low productivity and energy, particularly in the afternoon.
A couple of weeks ago someone requested a SAD Lamp through Juno concierge and I was intrigued so I thought I’d give it a go. I must say I was initially pretty dubious as to how effective it would be but I was actually pleasantly surprised. I used it after lunch when I normally experienced a bit of a slump and found that I actually managed to power through the afternoon. I think this is because it’s still getting dark quite early so my body thinks the work day is done, so having a bit of fake sunlight actually does me wonders!
